How to add page numbers and a watermark to a PDF

Number the pages in the format you want, or mark every page DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL.

Two small jobs that finishing a document usually needs. Both run in your browser and add nothing of ours to the file.

Page numbers

Open Add page numbers and add your PDF.
Choose the position (top or bottom, left, centre or right), the format (1, Page 1 or 1 of N) and the first number.
Download the numbered PDF.

Start at a number higher than 1 when this file continues another one.

Open Add watermark and add your PDF.
Type the text, for example DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL, and set its size and opacity.
Download the marked PDF.

Choose an opacity that is visible but still lets the page be read.

A watermark drawn on the page is hard to remove, but it is not a security feature. If a document must be protected, do not share it at all.
Add numbers after you have finished reordering pages, or they will be out of order.
