More to start from: all form, quiz and course templates. Nothing is published until you press Publish, and every answer lands in your account with charts and a CSV.

A science quiz for children only helps if the answer after a wrong guess teaches something, and if the children who missed a question get a second try on it. Teachers often end up writing hints and explanations from scratch for every question, then cutting them down to fit the lesson. The live sample above is a general science quiz; the chat adapts it to your class's topic, age and the facts you want checked.

What you get

Practice round for missed questions

Quizzes with hints, explanations and a practice mode let a child who got a question wrong see the hint and the short explanation again, then answer it once more. You decide the wording of each explanation, so the practice round repeats the lesson in the words you chose.

Quizzes that teach

Every question can have a hint and an explanation, and missed questions come back until they are right.

See who knows what

The results show the average score, which questions people miss most, the most common wrong answer and every play.

Who uses it

  • Primary school teacher at the end of a unit

A quick check on the water cycle or magnets before the unit test. The results page shows which questions most of the class missed, so you know what to reteach the next morning.

  • Parent helping with homework

A short quiz on plant life or simple circuits that gives a hint before the answer is revealed, so the child is nudged toward the idea instead of just being told it. The practice round covers only what they got wrong.

  • After-school science club leader

A recurring quiz on one topic per week, shared by link or QR code at the start of each session. Set a response limit if you only want a set number of replies per week.

Questions

Should I ask children for their names?

Usually you do not need to. A first name or a class code is often enough to follow up. If you do collect anything about children, you are responsible for what you gather and how you store it, so ask only for what you need for the lesson.

Can I include hints without giving away the answer?

Yes. Write each hint as a nudge toward the idea, such as 'think about what happens to water when the sun warms a lake', and keep the explanation for after the answer is chosen. The chat can write these for each question, and you can edit any of them.

Are the facts in the quiz checked?

No. The chat writes questions and explanations from the topic you give, but a teacher should read every question and answer before children see it. Check any fact you would not want to get wrong in front of a class.

How do I share the quiz with my class?

Each quiz is published at its own link, and you can also use the QR code on a projected slide or a printed sheet. Responses appear on a results page with charts, and you can download them as a CSV.

Can children type their own answers?

Yes, the quiz can use typed answers as well as multiple choice. Typed answers are useful for spelling key terms like 'evaporation', though they need a clear wording so a correct answer is not marked wrong.
