Personal finance basics

Three short lessons to get your money in order. No jargon, a few numbers, and practice after each lesson.

This is a real course: answer it the way a visitor would. Nothing is saved.

Use this template Describe yours in chatOpen full screen

More to start from: all form, quiz and course templates. Nothing is published until you press Publish, and every answer lands in your account with charts and a CSV.

A chapter gives you the content but not the sequence, the checks for understanding or the test, and rebuilding those by hand takes an evening per reading. This page turns a PDF you attach in the chat into a course: lessons in a sensible order, practice questions and a final test, all written from that document. The live sample above is a general finance course; the chat adapts the same structure to your article.

What you get

Built from your document, not from memory

The lessons, practice questions and test are drawn from the text you attach. Check each lesson against the reading and ask the chat to change anything that drifts from what the author actually says.

Lessons, key points, practice

Each lesson has clear text, the key points to remember and practice questions, followed by a final test across all lessons.

Written from your source

Attach a book, a PDF or a document: the assistant plans one lesson per chapter and writes them a few at a time, from your text only.

How it works

  1. Step 1

Open a lesson in the sample above and try its practice questions.

  2. Step 2

Press Use this template, or attach your book or document in the assistant and ask for a course.

  3. Step 3

Read and edit the lessons, publish, and share the link. Learners keep their progress and you see how far they get.

Who uses it

  • Secondary history or English teacher

Turn a chapter or source article into a four-lesson unit with checks after each part and a final test, ready to share with the class as one link.

  • Adult education or workplace trainer

Turn a policy document or industry article into a short course for a training group, with a practice set for each module and a pass mark you set.

  • Teacher covering a lesson

Turn the reading a class must finish into a guided sequence with questions along the way, so the cover lesson produces something you can review afterwards.

Questions

How do I start from my PDF?

Attach the PDF in the chat and describe your class, such as age, subject and how long the unit should take. Text-based PDFs work best. If a scan has no readable text, you may need to paste the passages in.

Does the course follow the author's order?

By default it follows the chapter's structure. Ask the chat to reorder lessons, merge two sections or start with a simpler summary if your class needs it.

Can I check the answers before students see them?

Yes. Every question and answer is editable, and you can use practice mode to take the course yourself before you publish it at a link.

What about students who are under 18?

Many classes include minors, so collect only what you need, such as a name or class code, and tell students and parents what the course records. You are responsible for what you collect and for using the reading within your school's rules and copyright.
