This is a real course: answer it the way a visitor would. Nothing is saved.

More to start from: all form, quiz and course templates. Nothing is published until you press Publish, and every answer lands in your account with charts and a CSV.

Dense papers get skimmed, and students often remember the abstract but cannot say how the study was run or what it failed to show. This page builds a course from your paper: each main section becomes a lesson with key points, and check questions test whether a reader understood the method and the limits. The live sample above is a general one about a classic book; the chat adapts it to the paper you describe or attach.

What you get

Lessons that follow the paper's own sections

The chat splits the paper into lessons along its real structure, such as background, method, results and limits. You can merge, drop or reorder lessons, rewrite key points in simpler words, and add quiz questions with hints and explanations.

Lessons, key points, practice

Each lesson has clear text, the key points to remember and practice questions, followed by a final test across all lessons.

Written from your source

Attach a book, a PDF or a document: the assistant plans one lesson per chapter and writes them a few at a time, from your text only.

How it works

  1. Step 1

Open a lesson in the sample above and try its practice questions.

  2. Step 2

Press Use this template, or attach your book or document in the assistant and ask for a course.

  3. Step 3

Read and edit the lessons, publish, and share the link. Learners keep their progress and you see how far they get.

Who uses it

  • Seminar teachers

Turn a reading you assign every term into a course with check questions, so students arrive having already worked through the method and limits.

  • Students preparing for a journal club or thesis review

Build a course from the paper you must present, with lessons that make you state the sample, the measures and what the results cannot prove.

  • Lab managers onboarding new members

Turn a published study your group relies on into a course that new researchers finish before they touch the data or the protocol.

Questions

Are the check questions accurate to the paper?

Check every question against the paper before you publish it. The chat drafts from the text you give it, and it can misread a table, a figure or a footnote. Each question can have a hint and an explanation that you edit.

Can learners retry before the final test?

Yes. A practice mode lets learners go through the lesson questions again before the final test, so the test measures what they learned rather than a first guess.

How long can a course be for a long paper?

A long paper usually fits into five to eight lessons, one per main section, with the methods and limits sections kept separate. You can change this in the chat by merging or splitting lessons.

How do I see how students did?

Responses appear on a results page with charts, and you can download them as a CSV. That shows which lessons or questions most learners got wrong, which is often the part of the paper to explain again in class.

What should I check if the paper uses personal data?

Use only papers you have the right to share with your learners, and do not ask learners for more personal details than the course needs. You are responsible for what you collect from people who take it.
