Need a different result? Turn anything into anything: drop any file, pick what you want out of it.Try it →Long Word reports, policies and meeting notes are slow to pass on when a colleague only needs the main points. This page reads your document and writes a summary of 3 to 5 sentences, followed by 4 to 6 key points. Names, figures, dates and the order of the sections are kept as they appear in the file.
What you get
Keeps names, figures and dates
The summary reuses the exact names, numbers and dates from your document, so you can check it against the original without hunting for changes.
Keeps the section order
Points follow the order of the headings in your file, so a summary of a report reads in the same sequence as the report itself.
Same language as your file
The summary is written in the language of your Word document, so a German policy gets a German summary.

Questions
What do I get without an account?
The preview summarises about the first 6,000 characters of your Word document, giving you a 3 to 5 sentence summary and up to 6 key points. A free account gives the result for the whole document.
Will the summary keep my names, figures and dates exactly?
Yes. The summary uses only what your document says and keeps names, figures, dates and the order of the sections as written. Results can still contain mistakes, so check the summary against the original when the details matter.
What is the difference between the summary and the key points?
The summary is a short paragraph of 3 to 5 sentences that describes the whole document. The key points are 4 to 6 bullets, each one a separate point from the document, listed in the order they appear.
Does the tool keep my Word file?
The preview does not keep your file. Saving the result and the longer summaries are part of the free account.
Can I change how long the summary is?
Summary length and style are available with a free account. The preview always gives the same 3 to 5 sentence summary and 4 to 6 key points.
