A Word document written for reading at a desk often hides its key facts in paragraphs, lists and tables, which makes it hard to check what you have actually learned. This page turns the document into a six-question multiple-choice quiz with options A to D, using only what the document says. The answers come with a one-line reason so you can see where each one comes from.

What you get

Six questions with four options each

Every question is labelled with options A to D, so you can test recall of names, dates, figures and rules as they appear in the document.

Answers with a reason

The answer key comes at the end, and each answer has a one-line reason that points back to the part of the document it comes from.

Only what the document says

The questions are built from your text alone. The quiz keeps the language of the Word document and does not add outside facts.

How it works

  1. Step 1

Paste the text of your Word document into the box, or drop the .docx file onto the tool.

  2. Step 2

Read the quiz preview, answer the questions, and check your answers against the reasons at the end.

  3. Step 3

Create a free account to get a longer quiz, other question types, a printable version with an answer key, and the option to use files and photos of notes.

Who uses it

  • Teachers and course leaders

Turn a reading handout or course document into a quick check of understanding before a lesson or assessment.

  • Trainers and onboarding staff

Check whether new starters have taken in the policies, schedules and rules in a training guide.

  • Students revising from notes

Test yourself on a report or study document before an exam, then go back to the exact paragraph behind any answer you missed.

Questions

Does the tool keep my Word document?

No. The preview reads up to about 6,000 characters of text and does not keep the file. A free account is needed to get the whole result from a complete document.

What does the quiz cover?

It asks six multiple-choice questions, each with options A to D, drawn from the names, dates, figures, sections and rules in your Word document. Answers and one-line reasons are listed at the end.

Can I use a scanned Word file or a photo of a page?

The preview works from the text in your document. If your file is a scan or a photo of pages, a free account is needed because it reads scans using OCR.

Are the quiz answers always correct?

Not always. Results can contain mistakes, so check the answers against the original document when it matters, especially for figures, dates and deadlines.

What language is the quiz in?

The quiz uses the same language as your Word document, with the names, figures and wording kept as they are written.
