Turn a PDF into a multiple-choice quiz
Upload a PDF or paste its text and get a 6-question multiple-choice quiz with options A to D and the answers, each with a one-line reason.
This preview shows the first 220 words and does not keep your file.
Need a different result? Turn anything into anything: drop any file, pick what you want out of it.Try it →Quizzing yourself on a long PDF usually means rereading it and guessing what matters. This page reads the document and writes a multiple-choice quiz based only on what it says, so the questions follow the material's own names, figures and sections. Each answer comes with a one-line reason you can check against the page.
What you get
Questions drawn from your document
Each of the six questions comes from the text the tool reads, using the names, figures and dates as written. Nothing is added from outside the PDF.
Four options and a reason for every answer
Every question has options A to D. The answer key at the end gives the correct letter and a one-line reason, so you can see where it comes from.
Same language as the PDF
The quiz is written in the language of the source document, so a French handout gives a French quiz and an English report gives an English one.
How it works
- Step 1
Drop a PDF into the box or paste the text from it. The preview reads up to 5 pages or about 6,000 characters.
- Step 2
Read the six questions and try them. Look at the answer key only after you have chosen your letters.
- Step 3
A free account gives you a longer quiz, other question types, and a printable version with an answer key. It also handles scanned PDFs, files and photos of notes.
Who uses it
Students preparing for a test
Turn a chapter PDF or course handout into a quiz to check which sections you can already answer before the exam.
Trainers and team leads
Check that staff have read a policy or safety manual by asking questions drawn directly from its sections and dates.
Anyone reading dense reports
Test your recall of a long report or research summary, using its own figures and terms, before a meeting or a discussion.
Questions
How many questions does the quiz have?
The quiz has six multiple-choice questions, each with options A to D. A free account unlocks a longer quiz with more questions and other question types.
Does the quiz cover the whole PDF?
The preview reads up to 5 pages or about 6,000 characters, so the questions come from that part. A free account works with whole documents, so the quiz can draw on more of the file.
Can I use a scanned PDF?
A scan is only a picture of the text, so the preview cannot read it. Scanned PDFs need the OCR step, which is included with a free account.
Are the answers always correct?
The results can contain mistakes, so check each answer against the original PDF before relying on it for a test, a training record or a decision. Each answer's one-line reason tells you which part of the text it came from.
Is my PDF stored after the quiz is made?
The preview does not keep your file. Accounts handle whole documents, so check the account settings if you need to know how long files are kept.
