How to build your website with WordGPT

Describe yourself or start from your resume, and WordGPT drafts a real website with sections, photos, colours and a menu.

WordGPT can build a small website for you: not just a resume on a page, but sections, pictures, colours and a menu, drafted by the AI from what it knows about you and editable afterwards. You will find it under Pages in the left sidebar. It is free to start: create a free account and you can try it right away.

Start from your resume

The fastest way is to build it from a resume you already made (see How to build your resume with WordGPT). In the resume builder you will see Turn your resume into a website: press Build my website.

You can also open Pages and start a new page there. Either way, WordGPT first asks a few questions so the draft fits you:

  • which resume to use (or none, if you prefer to describe yourself),
  • what the page is for,
  • who it is for,
  • the feel you want,
  • which sections you want.

You can write in your own language, including right-to-left languages such as Arabic and Kurdish (Sorani).

What you get

A first draft with sections such as about you, services or work, and contact, using the facts from your resume. The assistant is told not to invent facts: if your resume has nothing for a section, it says so and leaves it for you instead of making something up.

You can have up to three pages per account, for example a professional page and a personal one.

Review before anything is public

A new page is private until you publish it. Look through the draft, check names, dates and contact details, and move on to editing: Edit your website by hand or with the assistant.

Don't have a resume yet? Build your resume first, it takes a few minutes and makes the website much better.

Next: Edit your website by hand or with the assistant.
