How to build your resume with WordGPT
Import an existing CV or start from scratch, then edit it with an AI assistant at your side and pick a style.

The WordGPT resume builder turns a CV you already have into a clean, consistent resume, and lets you keep improving it by asking an assistant in plain words. You can open it from Resume in the left sidebar. It is free to start: create a free account and you can have a first version in a few minutes.
Two ways to start
Import my CV. Drop your CV on the page, or choose it from your Files library. WordGPT reads these:
- a PDF
- a Word document
- a photo of a printed CV
- a text file
You can also paste the text of your CV into the box instead of uploading anything. Then press Read my CV. It uses one AI action, and nothing is invented: it only organises what your CV already says, and you can edit everything afterwards.
Coming from LinkedIn? Open your LinkedIn profile, choose More → Save to PDF, then drop that file here.
Start from scratch. Choose Blank resume, fill in the sections yourself and pick a style.
The panel: Assistant, Edit, Style, Publish
Once the resume exists, a panel next to it has four tabs.
Assistant
Type what you want in a sentence, for example "make my summary shorter", "add that I speak Romanian and English" or "switch to a more modern style". The assistant edits the resume and shows what it changed. If a request takes too long it stops without losing anything; send it again.
Edit
Fill in or correct the sections yourself:
- Basics: full name, headline (for example "Medical student"), city and country, and a short profile.
- Experience: job title, employer, start and end (or "Present"), and one achievement per line.
- Education: school or university, and dates.
- Skills: separated by commas.
- Languages.
The Improve with AI button next to a text field rewrites that text more clearly. Review it before you keep it.
Style
Pick one of four looks: Classic, Modern, Minimal or Bold. Changing the style never changes your content, so you can try all four.
Publish
Download a PDF or publish the resume at your own link. That is covered in Publish your resume and download it as a PDF.
Tips for a better resume
- Put numbers in achievements: "reduced reporting time from two days to two hours" says more than "improved reporting".
- Keep the profile to three or four sentences.
- Read the final version once in full. The assistant never invents facts on purpose, but you know your history best.
