Gender reveal invitation for your baby shower
A gender reveal invitation tells guests the date, the place and what the guess is about before anyone knows the answer. This page keeps the result off the page and collects guesses and colour choices through the reply form.
Sample gender reveal invitation pages
What to put on a gender reveal invitation
- Date, start time and the address with a map link
- The reveal moment in the programme, written without the result
- A colour dress code, such as blue for a boy and pink for a girl
- One guess question among the extra questions
- Parking, gate or arrival notes
- A gift note if you want one, such as books or nappies
- An RSVP date so you can order the cake
The page has an RSVP form: guests say yes or no, how many are coming, and anything you ask (allergies, email, phone). You get an email for each reply and a guest list with a CSV export.
When to send it
- Two weeks before: Send the link and ask for replies by a set date
- One week before: Check the guest list and the count for the cake
- Party day, morning: Email guests the address and parking note again
- At the party: Open the sealed result and cut the cake together

Questions
- Can I keep the reveal secret if the page is online?
- Anyone with the link can read the page, so do not write the result on it. Describe the reveal moment in the programme without the answer, and the outcome comes on the day.
- Where do the guesses go?
- Guesses are answered in one of the extra questions on the reply form. You can read each answer in the guest list or export them to a CSV.
- Is there a live poll that guests can see?
- No. The page has no live vote count, so guests do not see each other's guesses. You tally the answers yourself from the guest list or the CSV.
- Does the colour dress code have to be followed?
- It is a note on the invitation, so guests choose whether to follow it. You can say it is a fun extra rather than a rule.
- Can I change the date or details after I send the link?
- Yes. Edit the page by hand or by asking in the chat, and guests who open the same link will see the updated details.
