What to put on a engagement party invitation wording
- Date, start time and how long the party runs
- Venue name and a map link guests can tap
- Short programme: arrival, toasts, food or dinner
- Dress code and parking or travel notes
- Add-to-calendar file so guests can save the date
- RSVP deadline, guest count and a note for dietary needs
- Who is hosting, so guests know whose party it is
The page has an RSVP form: guests say yes or no, how many are coming, and anything you ask (allergies, email, phone). You get an email for each reply and a guest list with a CSV export.
When to send it
- Six to eight weeks before: Send the invitation and ask for replies by a set date
- Two weeks before: Check replies against your guest list and follow up with anyone who has not answered

Questions
- Do guests need an account to reply?
- No. Guests open one link from the invitation, see the date, map, programme and notes, and send their reply on the same page without signing up.
- How do I find out who has replied?
- You get an email for each reply, and the guest list shows totals for yes, no and guest numbers. You can also download the list as a CSV file.
- Can I ask about dietary needs or song requests?
- Yes. Replies include a note box and up to six extra questions, so you can ask about dietary needs, allergies or anything else you want to know before the party.
- Can I change the wording after I send the invitation?
- Yes. You can edit the page by hand or ask for changes in the chat. Guests will see the updated version when they open the link.
- Can I use these lines for a surprise party?
- Yes, but share the link only with people who are in on the surprise. Anyone with the link can open the page, so keep it to a small group of trusted guests.
