Anniversary party invitation wording for 10, 25 and 50 years

Most anniversary invitations are hard to start because the first sentence sounds either too formal or too cute. These lines cover 10, 25 and 50 years, from the couple themselves and from their children, so you can pick the tone that fits your family. Each one is a full sentence you can paste straight into your invitation page.

Sample anniversary party invitation pages

What to put on a anniversary party invitation

  • Both names and the wedding date
  • The anniversary year: 10, 25 or 50
  • Date, start time and a map link
  • Who is hosting: the couple or the children
  • Dress code, if the party is formal
  • A line about gifts, or a note that none are needed
  • An RSVP deadline

The page has an RSVP form: guests say yes or no, how many are coming, and anything you ask (allergies, email, phone). You get an email for each reply and a guest list with a CSV export.

When to send it

  1. 6 to 8 weeks before: Send the invitation link and ask guests to reply by a set date
  2. 3 weeks before: Check the guest list and note who has not answered yet
  3. 2 weeks before: Follow up with those still missing and confirm numbers with the venue
  4. The day after the party: Export the guest list as a CSV so you keep a record of who came

Questions

Can I change the wording after I have sent the invitation?
Yes. You can edit the page by hand or ask for changes in the chat. Guests see the current version when they open the link, so a corrected time or a new dress code will show up for everyone who has not yet replied.
Who receives the replies?
The host gets an email for each reply. The guest list shows totals for yes, no and the number of guests, and you can download it as a CSV file.
Do guests need an account to reply?
No. Guests open one link from the invitation and reply on the page. They do not need to sign up or install anything.
Can the children be the hosts of a parents' anniversary invitation?
Yes. The name shown as host is whatever you write on the page, so you can sign it with the children's names or with a line like From your children. The wording above includes examples for this.
What can guests send back?
A yes or no, the number of guests, a short note and answers to up to six extra questions you choose. There is no payment, no seating chart and no printed card, so a dinner or lunch invitation should include any details guests need to know on the page itself.
