Turn a textbook chapter into Anki flashcards

Paste a chapter or notes and get question-and-answer flashcards in a CSV you can import into Anki. Free to try.

This preview shows the first 220 words and does not keep your file.

Flashcards work best when each card holds one clear idea, and making them by hand takes longer than reading the chapter. This tool reads your text and writes question-and-answer cards, one fact each, as a CSV file that Anki and most flashcard apps can import. The answers use only the text you provide, so you are not memorising something the author did not say. Check the cards once, then import them and start reviewing.

What you get

One idea per card

Definitions, causes, steps and comparisons, each as a short question and answer.

Questions

How do I import the cards into Anki?

Save the CSV as a file, then in Anki choose File > Import and map the two columns to Front and Back.

How many cards do I get?

The free preview makes a short set; the full version makes as many as the text supports.

Are the cards accurate?

They follow your text. Read them once, because a summary can lose a detail.

Can I get cloze deletion cards?

Ask in your account; cloze and image cards can be added.
