Notes taken in a hurry are shorthand: fragments, abbreviations and points in the order they came up, which makes them hard to test yourself with. This page turns them into six multiple-choice questions that use only the terms, names and examples your notes already contain. The preview shows the start of the quiz, and a free account gives you the whole thing.

What you get

Built from your notes

Each question draws on terms, names and examples that appear in what you pasted. Nothing is added from outside the notes, so the quiz checks your own material.

Four options and a short reason

Every question has options A to D. The answers come at the end, each with a one-line reason tied to the notes.

Same language as your notes

If the notes are in Spanish, French or any other language, the quiz is written in that language, so you can test yourself without switching.

How it works

  1. Step 1

Paste your notes into the box, or type a few lines of shorthand as they are.

  2. Step 2

Read the preview to see the first questions, options and how the answers are explained.

  3. Step 3

Create a free account to get the full six-question quiz, plus a longer quiz, other question types, a printable version with an answer key, and files or photos of notes.

Who uses it

  • Students revising for an exam

Turn a term of lecture notes into a quiz to find the points you can't yet recall, instead of rereading the same page.

  • Teachers writing a quick check

Paste your own lesson notes to get a set of multiple-choice questions to adapt, then check each one against your original material before you use it.

  • Anyone who took notes at a training or talk

Test whether you remember the key names, figures and examples from a session while they are still fresh, using only what you wrote down.

Questions

What does the quiz contain?

Six multiple-choice questions, each with four options labelled A to D. The answers are listed at the end, each with a one-line reason from your notes. The preview shows the start of the quiz, and a free account gives the full set.

Does the quiz add facts that are not in my notes?

It is meant to use only what your notes say. Terms, names and examples come from what you pasted. If a point in the notes is unclear or incomplete, the question may be too, so read it against your notes before you rely on it.

My notes are very short or full of abbreviations. Will it still work?

Yes, as long as the notes contain enough terms and examples to build questions from. Shorthand such as 'yrs', 'HRE' or 'esp.' is kept as written, so the questions will match how you wrote things down.

Can I trust the answers?

Quizzes can contain mistakes, including wrong answer keys or questions that misread a note. Check each answer against your original notes or the source material when it matters, for example before an exam or before sharing the quiz with others.
