Tailor your resume to a job description

Paste your resume and a job posting and get a version rewritten to fit it: reordered, keyword-aware and honest. Nothing is invented. Free to try.

This preview shows the first 300 words and does not keep your file.

Sending the same resume to every job is fast, and recruiters can tell. Tailoring means putting the most relevant work first and using the language of the posting, but only where it is true. This tool reads your resume and a job description together and rewrites the resume for that job: a summary aimed at the role, bullets reordered by relevance, and skills named the way the employer names them if your resume supports it. It never adds experience you do not have, and it lists the requirements your resume does not show, so you know what to address in the interview.

What you get

Relevant work first

Bullets are reordered and reworded around what the job asks for.

The employer's words

Skills and tools are named the way the posting names them, but only when your resume backs them up.

An honest gap list

Requirements your resume does not show are listed, so you can prepare for them rather than hide them.

How it works

  1. Step 1

Paste your resume, then the job description under it.

  2. Step 2

Read the tailored version and the gap list.

  3. Step 3

Create a free account to refine it by asking and export it to a document.

Who uses it

  • Active job seekers

Make a fitting version of your resume for each role you apply to.

  • People changing fields

See which of your experience transfers and what is missing.

  • Returners to work

Re-frame older experience for today's posting without inventing anything.

Questions

Does it guarantee that I pass an applicant tracking system?

No tool can. Using the posting's own terms, where true, helps with keyword matching, but systems and recruiters differ.

Will it add skills I do not have?

No. It is told to use only what your resume supports, and it lists gaps instead of covering them.

Is the output a finished file?

In the preview you get text to copy. In an account you can edit it, and export it to a Word document or PDF.

Can it tailor for a very different job?

It can reorder and reword, but it cannot create experience. For a big change, the gap list is the most useful part.
