- 1Day 1 — Alfama and the river
Start with coffee and a pastel de nata in Alfama. Walk to Miradouro das Portas do Sol, have grilled sardines at a tasca for about €14, visit the castle for €15, and finish at Miradouro da Senhora do Monte for sunset.
- 2Day 2 — Belém and Baixa
Take tram 15 to Belém for €3. Visit Jerónimos Monastery for €12, eat the original pastéis at the bakery next door, walk back along the river and finish with a tasting dinner in Baixa for about €38 each.
- 3Day 3 — Príncipe Real and the market
Browse Time Out Market late in the morning, walk through the Príncipe Real gardens and end with a ginjinha at a counter bar.
